First Phase of Jharkhand Election started from today on 13-11-2024. Voting taking place 43 constituencies out of 81. Out of which 20 seats for ST, 6 seats for SC. With 15,344 polling booths with 683 candidates participated for the assembly election in the state.

Jharkhand Election results counted & declared on 23-Nov-24. Individual party has won their respective seats as below. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha & Alliance secured 56 seats & has crossed clear majority & will form the Government.

From Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Mr Hemant Soren won from Barhait constituency, Mrs Kalpana Murmu Soren won from Gandey Constituency, Stephen Marandi from Maheshpur, Basant Soren from Dumka, Lios Marandi from Jama, Ramdas Soren from Ghatsila, JMM has secured 34 seats, Alliance INC secured 16 & RJD secured 4seats. Total JMM alliance has 56 seats which is a clear majority to form government.
From Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), Mr Babulal Marandi won from Dhanwar & Champai Soren from Saraikala.
